Art Basel Miami Beach brings leading galleries from around the world to the Miami Beach Convention Center, presenting modern masterworks alongside established and emerging contemporary artists. This guided group tour offers a thoughtfully selected route through the fair, helping you make sense of its extraordinary scope while finding works that reward closer attention.
Matthew attends dozens of art fairs each year across the United States and internationally, bringing a broad perspective to the fair in his home city. With a master’s degree in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York, he combines art-historical knowledge, independent judgment, and practical experience helping clients discover and collect meaningful art.
Over approximately two to two and a half hours, we will explore a selection of compelling booths and artworks, discussing the artists, their ideas and techniques, and their place in the wider contemporary art landscape. Expect opportunities to ask questions, share impressions, and develop your own eye—whether you are an experienced collector, considering your first purchase, or simply curious about contemporary art.
Each tour is limited to 12 participants, allowing for conversation and an engaging shared experience.

Meeting location: Miami Beach Convention Center. Exact meeting instructions will be provided upon booking.
Price: $150 per person.
The tour fee may be credited in full toward the standard advisory commission on a contemporary artwork purchased through Charting Transcendence during the fair or within six months of your tour.
Fair admission is not included. A limited number of complimentary admission tickets may be available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. Please inquire when booking.
