Art Basel Miami Beach 2026 — Private Tour
Explore Art Basel Miami Beach through a private tour shaped around your interests, led by Matthew Blong, Miami-based art advisor and founder of Charting Transcendence.
North America’s largest international contemporary art fair brings together exceptional modern and contemporary works from leading galleries worldwide. A private visit offers a focused way to navigate this extraordinary gathering, with time to look closely, ask questions, and discover artists whose work speaks to you.
Matthew attends dozens of art fairs each year across the United States and internationally. With a master’s degree in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York, he brings art-historical knowledge, market insight, and the experience of advising collectors to the fair in his home city.
Over approximately two hours, Matthew will guide you through selected galleries and presentations, tailoring the route and conversation to your curiosity, aesthetic preferences, and collecting goals. You might explore a particular medium, discover emerging artists, consider a work for your home, or deepen your understanding of an artist you already admire. The visit offers individual attention and room for unexpected discoveries, with thoughtful discussion of the ideas, materials, and cultural contexts behind the work.
Whether you are building an established collection or beginning to explore contemporary art, this tour will help you clarify what draws you to an artwork and approach the fair with greater confidence.
