NYC Spring 2026 Art Fair Tours (Group and Private)
Join us May 12–17, 2026 for an unparalleled opportunity to explore New York City’s premier art fairs through guided tours led by Matthew Blong, founder of Charting Transcendence.
This dynamic week brings together four of the most important fairs in the global art calendar, each offering a distinct perspective on contemporary and historical art—from emerging voices to museum-quality masterpieces.
Tours are available at the following fairs:
Frieze New York – Held at The Shed in Hudson Yards, Frieze presents a highly curated selection of leading international galleries, showcasing cutting-edge contemporary art at the highest level.
Independent Art Fair – Located at Pier 36 on the Lower East Side, Independent offers a more intimate, curatorially driven experience, featuring thoughtful presentations that bridge emerging and established practices.
NADA New York – Hosted at the Starrett-Lehigh Building in Chelsea, NADA is widely regarded as one of the best places to discover emerging artists and new voices shaping the future of contemporary art.
TEFAF New York – Taking place at the Park Avenue Armory, TEFAF brings together world-class galleries presenting exceptional works spanning modern and contemporary art, design, and art history at the highest level.
Each two-hour tour is thoughtfully designed to help you navigate these fairs with clarity and purpose. Drawing on a balance of discipline and intuition, Matthew offers insights into key artists, market context, and the broader cultural significance of the works on view—whether you are actively collecting or simply deepening your engagement with art.
Group tours are offered at $125 per person.
Private tours are available for $375 (max 2 individuals).
This fee may be applied in full as a rebate toward a reduction in the standard commission rate on any purchase of contemporary art effectuated through Charting Transcendence within six months of the tour date.
Whether you choose to focus on a single fair or experience multiple across the week, these tours provide a unique opportunity to engage with the art world at its most vibrant—guided by an experienced advisor who brings both expertise and a highly personalized approach to every visit.
